The Department and its individual members are well introduced in the national and international scientific community and can benefit from a significant number of collaborations. During the past years agreements and common programs have been activated with foreign scientific institutions, including scholarships with visiting professors and visiting scholars. Individual members of the Department are or have been on the steering or editorial committees of renowned foreign associations or scientific journals.

VISITING SCHOLARS:

Professors and researchers from foreign universities can conduct research or participate in research groups, hold seminars or occasional lessons as Visiting Scholars in our Department, for periods of at least 15 days.

The application must be addressed by email to the Department Director at least three months before the visit, indicating the duration and motivations of the visit, the date of arrival, a full academic CV and the activities that will be carried out during the stay.
